The Driftless Film Festival features a highly selective and well curated selection of independent features, shorts, and documentaries. Entries will be open for the 2024 Festival will open Wednesday, May 1, and will stay open until Sunday, June 30.
This year, the DFF proudly introduces the Driftless Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. This award will go to the best in films that are made with a significant connection to the Driftless Area, and is open to filmmakers from the four states that compose the Driftless Area (WI, IL, IA, and MN) or films that are produced in or have a significant connection to the Driftless Area. Details will be announced soon.
Each Official Selection will receive digital laurels. Each Nominee and Winner will receive additional digital laurels and a certificate and a trophy. Entry fee for submissions is $12.50 for students and $25 for all other entrants. All selections will be made by mid August, and notifications will be sent shortly after that.
